My name is Cydney Neil and I created and operated the Rocky Point Haunted House in Utah where it was open from 1979-2007.  I was fortunate over the years to have great friends in the entertainment industry that either gave, sold or made many of the fabulous props I used in my sets.  When I made the decision to close my show and auction off all of my props, there were several items, for one reason or another, I just couldn't part with at the time. Most of them had been very personal to me. Now, given some time, I think I can finally let them go. There are some really wonderful items included in the auction that not only have a lot of sentimental value to me but many items that I guarantee will come complete with their very own entity attached! The unique collection of the late Robert Burns are irreplaceable collectors items that anyone should feel fortunate to own. Bob Burns was the disturbed, yet highly original creator of all of the bone props and furniture for the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. He spent nearly two months at the Rocky Point Haunted House recreating and creating many similar props for the Texas Chainsaw set in the famous Slasher area of the haunt. In 2007, after being diagnosed with a terminal disease, Robert tragically took his own life. All of these original pieces are one of a kind and valuable collector’s items for those who appreciated this artist’s work. Another of the coolest of the cool props made by this far-out set designer! This table made from a random table top and some animal legs, sat in front of the fabulous Bone Chair in the Bone Room at the Rocky Point Haunted House. This is a crazy prop and one that will be an enviable and valuable collector’s item for years to come. The table measures 22” wide and 17” tall.
