This beautifull piece is completely made of stainless steel! All other Mek´Leth are made of bendable and fragile alumnium sheet metal (as the ones made by roddenberry.com and other ebay sellers) but this one is heavy but handy and very solid. It was drawn on a CAD-program and then manufactured by a CNC-lasercut-machine. Its length is about 600mm or aprox 23 1/2" . Tow Plates made of lightweight aluminium are screwed on the grip section to make it a little bit thicker. At last a leatherstrip was wraped around the grip. Ist was handcrafted grinded and surface-brushed. The blades are not sharpened! The Mek´Leth was made for decoration but if you gonna take it out of its showcase (not included) it will not brake instandly in two pieces ;) . Sowfighting possible. Bei dem Mek´Leth handelt es sich um eine Beilartige Ritualwaffe der Rasse der Klingonen aus "Star Trek". Durch die dynamische und kompakte Form wird das Mek´Leth zur perfekten Nahkampfwaffe. Es ist macht den Krieger beweglicher, als im Umgang mit dem grösseren Bat´Leth. Mein Mek´Leth ist komplett aus rostfreiem, hochwertigem 4mm Edelstahl gefertigt. Es hat eine Gesamtlänge von 600mm. Ich habe es nach der Originalvorlage CAD-gezeichnet und Laserschneiden lassen. Das Mek´Leth wurde dann geschliffen und oberflächengebürstet. Das Mek´Leth ist mit zwei Griffschalen aus rubustem Aluminium verschraubt. Ein schwarzes und griffiges Lederband um den Griff vollendet diese perfekte und elegante Dekowaffe. Anders als die Mek´Leth-Nachbauten aus anfälligen und leicht biegsamen Aluminiumblech von Roddenberry.com und anderen Selfmade-Anbietern ist dieses Stück komplett aus hochwertigem Edelstahl und kommt damit auf ein schweres, handliches Gewicht. Somit kann das Mek´Leth auch mal das ein oder andere mal aus der Vitrine genommen werden ;) . Trotzdem ist das Mek´Leth NICHT scharfgeschliffen (anders als auf dem Bild mit dem Mekleth im Baumstamm) und wird hier als reiner Show- und Dekogegenstand angeboten!
