In 1995, Icons was the first company licensed to produce Star Wars replicas. Just over three years later the company went bankrupt making these pieces very rare, especially in mint, boxed condition. You are bidding on #1414 of 1977 pieces produced (although whether all 1977 pieces were manufactured is a point of debate). It is mint and comes in its original box with all original packing material and documents. It has never been displayed. It was taken from the box only this once for photographs. This is a truly exciting piece for Star Wars collectors and a must have for true collectors and completists! It includes: a museum quality acrylic display case (not pictured), numbered plaque, the Icons Vol I, Number Two Summer 1997 Collectors' Society Journal, Icons Winter 1997/1998 Catalog, an Icons/Lucasfilm certificate of authenticity, and instruction sheets.
