On MARCH 1, 1997 I conducted a single owner sale at Sotheby's in New York with all of my own material. This turned out to be the most successful movie poster auction of all time. Included in that auction was an original one sheet for the greatest Horror film of all time from 1932 which more than doubled the previous high record for a poster, by selling for an astounding $453,500.00. An auction record which still stands today, almost twelve years later when prices have since easily doubled and tripled.
