The coat, corset and arm bracelet was used by Gina Torres when she did her own stunts on the show and the shorts were worn by her stunt double. The costume consists of a coat, corset, rubber shorts with belt and an arm bracelet. All pieces were custom made for the show. There is a label on the back of the coat that reads "Hel's Lead Harness". The label on the corset reads "Cleopatra 2525 Hel. Gina Torres. 2cm bigger in bust cups. The label in the shorts reads "Cleopatra 2525. Helen Stunt Dbl harness shorts. Dauna Porter". The coat is made of thick shiney material with a black rubbery feeling material on the inside and a sparkey bronze trim. The sholders and neck of the coat are padded and the front has half zips down either side where the coat attaches to the corset. The corset is made of the same shiney material as the coat but in a pale grey colour. The zips are missing from the corset and there are two slits in the corset where the zips used to be. The bust of the corset is very padded and the back laces up with a bronze tie and a black leather lace. The rubber shorts are fully lined with cotton and have slits made by the costume department in the back and either side of the hips for the stunt harness. The shorts zip up the front (the zip is still fully working), The belt is made rubber and features a plastic metal look buckle. The bracelet is made of silver rubber with black rubber links. The black links have little clear jems in them and the braclet opens and closes by means of 3 small, fully working, clasps. The costume was bought directly from the Turner's Auctions that sold off all of the props and costumes from Cleopatra 2525 and the Xena and Hercules tv series in 2001. They are all guaranteed 100% AUTHENTIC and come with their original receipt from the Auction and reads as follows "This is to certify that the item for which Turners Auctions Ltd invoice no 020507U is attached was purchased at auction at Pacific renaissance Pictures, 550 Rosebank Rd, Avondale, Auckland, New Zealand on May 2001. The receipt then has the list of items bought by the original buyer which reads "No 122. 1 Hel costume, Actor Gina Torres (CS)". The receipt is then stamped and signed by Turners Auctions. Condition= The belt buckle has broken at the front under the buckle and has been repaired with tape by the costume department. The slit at the back of the shorts for the harness is slightly ripped. Both of these damages happened during the production of the show. Apart from the zips missing from the corset the corset is in very good condition. The bracelet is missing a few jems but is in fully functional condition with no damage. The coat is in the best condition of all with hardly any signs of wear and no noticable damage and no holes for the stunt harness.
