Incredible iconic 6 Sheet (81" X 81"), beautiful, rare image. Very hard to find, prized due to it's artwork, amazing image of Marilyn. This scarce six sheet is unique in that it is the only size done in artwork rather than photo style, and is prized for it's beautiful artwork. 6-Sheets are especially desirable due to their scarcity (6 sheets usually were pasted outdoors on theatre or small billboard walls, and as such were pasted over when the next film/6 sheet showed up. Also, films that were popular (like this one), ran for months, so the 6 sheets were usually exposed to the elements for months on end. The poster had some pinholes and chips on edge, and the censor stamp remains. Professionally linen backed, with flaws addressed, the poster displays very fine and is bright and crisp.
