Back to the Future FILLED Plutonium Case Replica! You are bidding on a replica plutonium case filled with TWELVE replica plutonium canisters inspired by the movie, Back to the Future. It is an incredibly rare piece and could be the crown jewel of your BTTF collection. If you have a replica time machine, this is a MUST HAVE. ABOUT THE CASE The case was custom made to our specifications by a professional trunk company and is about 20”x14”x12”. The top and bottom are lined with foam and the foam cutouts give the canisters a snug fit. When filled with canisters, the complete prop is approximately 35 pounds. It is a sturdy case and can be confidently carried by the top handle when filled. While this is a high-quality prop, there is no warranty expressed or implied. That said, we don’t anticipate any problems with it. ABOUT THE CANISTERS Just to be clear, these are NOT real plutonium. They are professionally-made movie prop replicas. The liquid surrounding the rods is distilled water and the canisters are hermetically sealed. The water is not drainable and the canisters do not leak. Each canister bottom rotates and releases the rod when turned to the proper position, just like it does in the movie. The prop is approximately 6 inches tall with a diameter of approximately 3.25 inches. When shaken, there could be some floating debris which we believe is some of the acrylic that flaked off as they were sealed. You will receive TWELVE fully-functional filled canisters with the case. Fully-insured shipping is via UPS Ground Service and is $80 within the continental US. If you live in Alaska or Hawaii, UPS Ground shipping is $180.
