Description
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA BALTARS CYLON FLIGHT HELMET PROP Super rare kit of Count Baltars Flight Helmet from the Classic Battlestar Galactica Episode 'The Living Legend'. Baltar wears the helmet in the iconic sequence where he commands the attack on the Galactica and the Battlestar Pegasus intervenes. This is a very rare item, from the USA made by a well known individual who made only a handful of these kits. This may well be the only one left unbuilt. It comes complete as originally shipped. A hand made item, so expect to do the usual filling, shaping, glueing, priming, painting etc. Has the usual minor imperfections associated with small run kits. No manual was included, but its not rocket science to figure the few pieces out. Watching the DVD or chatting on the BSG forums will answer any questions. The Helmet is one piece, made from fibreglass, with resin and plastic parts to complete it. It has the central triangular light box, red perspex lens and prismatic diffuser, all you need is to add the electronics. This is a one off chance to add this great helmet to your collection. Please don't bid unless you are familiar with this type of kit and are an experienced modelmaker. The picture of John Colicos as Baltar wearing the helmet is just for comparison, neither John, the original helmet, the finsihed article or anything else is included. Just the full kit to make your own (If you want it screen accurate you'll need to adda little light, and if you want to wear it, some inner padding). It is of course full size and will fit even a large head. All finishing, building etc are the responsibility of the buyer, kit is sold complete and as-is. Payment is due within seven days of auctions end. Sorry but No Exceptions. Paypal is welcome as long as the paypal account is linked to the buyers ebay ID and the item is being posted to the address on file with Paypal. UK BUYERS: can pay by paypal, Cheque, Postal Order, cash on collection etc. Email me If you wish to send payment buy post. NON- UK BUYERS: Must pay by Paypal. Non-UK buyers with Unconfirmed addresses must pay for fully trackable shipping. Postage/Handling is quoted for Insured Shipping within The UK Mainland (up to £36 value) Items exceeding £36.00 value or going to locations outside of UK Mainland will cost more. All items are sent Insured with proof of postage obtained. I wrap VERY CAREFULLY and ship items boxed with appropriate packaging materials. This means I usually post twice a week. ie: within three working days of receipt of cleared payment. Please allow for this timeframe. For Insurance/Customs declarations and shipping documentation, I ALWAYS declare the FULL VALUE of the shipment. Please do not ask me to misrepresent an items value. Import duty and customs compliance are the responsibility of the buyer. RETURNS:Due to the nature of my items all auction sales are offered on the understanding that items are sold "as is" and that all sales are final and non-returnable. The only exception to this would be in the unlikely event that I make a serious mistake in the items listing and you receive an item that is "Significantly not as described" In that event I would be happy to resolve the problem, provided that you notify me by email within three days of receipt of the item with details of the problem to obtain an authorisation for return. Items returned without authorisation will not be accepted under any circumstances. Return postage will routinely be the responsibility of the buyer, items must be returned in the condition originally sent within 7 days of buyers original receipt, before any refund will be issued. POSTAL DAMAGE: In the VERY RARE event that an item should be damaged in transit I will work with you to claim from the carrier. If you do receive a damaged item Keep all packaging as evidence of the carriers mistreatment. Any damages caused in transit must be reported to me via email within three days of receipt with attached photographs of damage/signs of misuse to packaging. I will file the claim for you. You retain the package and contents during the claim process. I will issue the refund upon receipt from them. Any refund issued prior to settlement of the claim by the carrier would only be by mutual agreement between buyer and seller and ONLY after the return of the parcel/contents/and original packaging as received, as evidence for damages claim. The returned item must be sent repackaged to preserve the original shipping packaging and sent via an insured service. Return costs would be buyers responsibility. UNDELIVERED ITEMS:ALL Items are sent Insured, with proof of postage. Should an item not arrive within a reasonable timeframe dictated by the chosen service and the carriers policy, then I will file a claim with the carrier. As most "missing" parcels are not actually "lost" just delayed, they usually arrive once an investigation is started. Because of this both buyer and seller must be patient, and the postal carrier must be allowed to conclude their investigation and search for the missing parcel before any refund can be issued. My Items are an eclectic mix of collectables. Some vintage, most rare, some antique, often unique! This means that many are pre-used, and may have wear and/or signs of use commensurate with their age. I take pride in my clear pictures and honest descriptions, including mentioning any damage or noteworthy "wear and tear". However, if you are unsure about any aspect of one of my items, I will be happy to answer questions or send extra pictures and my auctions are long enough to facilitate this process. Please ask any questions before you place your bid. Only bid if you are sure that you wish to complete the transaction as once the auction ends the winning bid is final. Please feel free to contact me anytime. I may be away looking for more beautiful items but I will answer as soon as I return home. If you are looking for anything in particular then why not see if I can find it for you? Please use the 'ask seller' button. Images of planets are courtesy of NASA and STScI Hubble telescope website.
