Description
* * * * * Up for sale is a lot of 3 ORIGINAL 1927 GERMAN CARDS for Fritz Lang's Masterpiece METROPOLIS! One of the most sought after of all movie poster titles. These 3 original UFA cards were printed in Germany back in 1927 to promote Metropolis. They are original photographic sepia post cards. Truly a rare find and an affordable one for collectors. Lobby cards on this film can sell as high as $20,000 dollars each and the posters are out-of sight! These are just as rare and NICER than the lobby cards! What a bargain!   The cards measure approximately 5-1/2 inches by 3-1/2 inches. One of the cards has German writing on the back (see photo #4). I have not had them translated and if you can read German please feel free to write me with an English translation. The back of the other cards are unused (see photo #5). All the cards are in FANTASIC SHAPE!  Fritz Lang ...
